New Item! ProImage Canvas Wraps

Sunday, February 26th, 2012

From the beginning of ProPhotos by Brian Photography, 9 + years running, we have always had clients ask us about canvas wraps.  In the past we have not offer them due to the cost associated with vendors that design and build them.  For a pro level canvas wrap, they are quite costly…  However, that never stop me from wanting to be able to meet my clients wants and desires.  So I pushed on to come up with a solution.  The solution is here.  I would like to announce the ProImage Canvas Wrap from ProPhotos by Brian Photography Image Lab.  The same professional photo lab we have and you have (our past and current clients) used for 9+ years.  I started working with our lab about two months ago in setting up a system to design, create and build the wraps and be able to have our clients place orders for them.  The wraps are a custom product and could not be processed the same way as a photo.  So we will be taking orders for them in our office much like we do for are Wedding Day Storybooks and albums.  Check out the below canvas wraps, the image is from Brett & Melissa’s wedding back in August.  You may remember seeing the image before as it was one of the selected images I used in their blog post.  The first canvas wrap is with a black wood frame and the second one is with a photo wrap frame.

The wraps can be ordered in practically any size you may want.  You will also have the choice to have your wrap in .75″, 1.5″ or 2.5″ deep — in photo wrap frame, black wood frame, white wood frame, espresso wood frame or single sheet-no frame.  You may also choose between a 1 panel,  2 panels, 3 panels or 4 panels for your photo to be placed on.  We also have the photo wrap canvas below on display in our office for anyone to stop in and check out.  So if you’ve been wanting a professional canvas wrap for one of your special day photos, come on by and lets get your order in.

Amanda & Chris Are Married | Topeka, KS Wedding Photographer

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012

I had the pleasure in photographing Amanda and Chris’s wedding this past Saturday at Lake Shawnee’s Reynold’s Lodge.  You may remember seeing Amanda and Chris in a blog post last year as I had a blast capturing their engagement photos as well.  Their wedding was really done up nice and we even got some very cool sunset images to boot.  Here is a sample of some images from their special day.  Enjoy.

“The Romantic Session”, February 2012 Photo of the Month | Brian Wickett Wedding Photojurnalist

Sunday, February 5th, 2012

This wedding photo is of an image I captured two years ago at Shane & Laureen’s wedding.  They had a very nice outdoor wedding and the weather was the best ever.  We had set aside some time for just Shane, Laureen and I to have a private shoot session.  We really didn’t go from the wedding location, just far enough to get away from everyone attending the wedding and to be alone.  The sun was setting and we had just a few minutes to get the shot and bam! We nailed it.  I really like the emotion that’s captured within the shot.  I selected this one photo, for photo of the month, not just for the coolness of the shot, but more so to show just what a little time set aside during each wedding for a romantic session can do.  20 minutes and we can knock out about 10 or so additional shots that can really impact the overall wedding day story. Always, “Something to Think About”.
